A morning in lansing

Today (08/18/2010) I went to my buddy's place to crash in Lansing on the couch that started my surfing days over 5yrs ago. I have many couches at my disposal and a key to each one. I feel very loved and trusted knowing that my friends trust me with keys to there houses, codes to there things, and knowledge of there dearest secrets. In my many years of "couch surfing" I have gained the trust of many by just being me, but with all that trust comes a great responsibility. My surfing days have definitely slowed down since I got a real apartment rather than just a friends couch, but I still like to surf around for a few days before returning to the new home.

Couch Retirment

A great change in my life occurred recently. I was forced to retire the couch I called home base. I am finally moving into a house and my friends are moving into the downstairs. But the couch I used to stay on is going to become garage furniture. Sunday (8-15-2010) my buddy art will be moving my furniture in and I will be bringing back the burgundy couch from my last real residence, it's been with me since I was 12yrs old. (Yes, I know. Its a boring post)

Cabin Surfing

This past weekend (Feb 19-21) I got to enjoy some great skiing near Cadillac MI at Caberfae Mt and Crystal Mt. Ski Resorts. And during the stay up there I hit up the couch at a sweet cabin my friend had rented. I got to enjoy some great company and sweet jacuzzi.
